2024 Vintage

We were rewarded with another year of plentiful rainfall. The saturated soils pushed vigor in the canopies and prepared the vines for the high heat that started in June and continued through harvest. Yields in our red wine vineyards were above average, but unfortunately the yields for Sauvignon Blanc came in lighter than expected or hoped for. We did get great color and great flavors, and the red wines are highly extracted. Overall, 2024 is an exceptional vintage. 

2024 Tasting Notes

This is summertime in a glass. Aromas of crisp apple, lemon meringue, pineapple and hints of white peach lift out of the glass. On entry the flavors echo the effusive aromatics of ripe tropical flavors, lychee and passionfruit. The luscious fruit core gives way to bright citrus notes and balanced acidity. The refreshing finish lingers with notes of Asian pear and apricot.
