In 2009, after many happy years spent working in the world of premium travel and hospitality, we settled in the heart of the Napa Valley and founded Silver Trident Winery.

We started small, and we’ve stayed that way by choice. We’re still a boutique family winery, producing just 3,500 cases a year. We focus mainly on single-varietal wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc as well as a proprietary Napa Valley Red Blend.

Our wonderfully talented winemaker, Kari Auringer, who, throughout her career, has helped create a number of cult wines in the Napa Valley, has been with us right from the start.

In 2009, we crafted our inaugural vintage of Twenty Seven Fathoms Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. The following year, we debuted our Benevolent Dictator Pinot Noir, and over the years that followed, we’ve added our Apollo’s Folly Rosé, Symphony No. 9 Sauvignon Blanc, Playing with Fire Proprietary Red Blend, and our Friends and Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.

In 2015, we opened the doors to our original Tasting Home in Yountville, the delightfully walkable village that has become the culinary capital of the Napa Valley. Featuring the Ralph Lauren Home Collection, it was a groundbreaking approach to pairing great wines with world-class home furnishings. Ever since, we’ve been welcoming guests from all over the globe to experience our wines and our world in an elegant, wine-country-casual setting.

And in 2024, we started the next chapter of our story when we moved our Tasting Home just down the block to a magical new location, tucked away on a private piazza right in the heart of town. We look forward to welcoming you and hosting you in our beautiful new home.
